His owners put his photo in the Limerick Post and to their surprise and delight a lady only 2 miles away rang to say she has had him since the night he ran away from the fireworks. He was lost for about 6 weeks!!!
He is now glad to be back home with his family. Another happy ending :-)

The owner received a call to report that a large dog had been living wild in some woods for the past few months. The owner went there, called out and Siska bounded out and straight up to her owners. How fantastic is that? Brilliant news.

Chopper was found some twenty miles from his home - his identity collar had been removed. The kind people who found him took him along to the Kilfinane Rescue Centre in Limerick, and his owners joyfully picked him up from there. It seems that Chopper had been stolen from his garden. When he was reunited with his owners, Chopper was in a very stressed state and his health had deteriorated. We are delighted to report that he is now back home on his armchair, and his owners are so relieved and delighted to have him safe and with visits to the Vet, his full health has returned. We would like to thank the people who took time to rescue Chopper and to bring him to the safe haven of the Rescue Centre."
